The Student Health Service at Loma Linda University provides comprehensive primary care and wellness services to support students' academic success and well-being. We offer primary care, preventive health services, immunizations, and health clearances to help students stay healthy throughout their education.
Our clinic serves as the primary care provider for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students, ensuring easy access to medical care, telehealth visits, and travel health consultations.

Services We Provide
We offer a full range of primary and preventive health services for students, including:
- Primary Care – Evaluation and treatment of common illnesses and injuries, and management of common chronic health conditions.
- Women’s Health & Family Planning – Cervical cancer screening, contraception management, family planning counseling, evaluation and management of common gynecologic complaints.
- STI Screening - clinician appointments for STI screening and counseling.
- Immunizations – Required and recommended vaccinations for school and travel.
- Health Clearance & Screenings – Including annual TB screenings, immunization titers, and flu shots.
- Pre–rotation Drug Screening – pre-rotation drug screening available through nurse visits.
- Pre–Rotation Physicals
- Travel Health & Vaccinations – Pre-travel medical consultations through our International Travel Clinic.
- Lab Services – On-site blood work and testing for registration requirements and labs.
- Telehealth Visits – Virtual appointments for select medical concerns.
- Blood and Body Fluid Exposure Management - follow-up evaluation and management after initial assessment at Advanced Urgent Care.

Please note: No TB/PPD skin tests given on Thursdays
Insurance & Coverage
The Student Health Service is the primary care provider for Loma Linda University students.
- Students must present their primary insurance card and photo ID at each visit.
- Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Students on the Student Health Plan (covered by UnitedHealthcare Student Resources) have no co-pay for office visits.
- Non – student spouses on the health plan – non-student spouses enrolled in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Student Health Plan are eligible to receive healthcare services at Student Health Service. A $40 copayment is required at the time of the appointment. Please inform the front office staff that you are a spouse covered under the plan.
